Sourcing a genuine SMEG pastel green kettle is the harder part of buying one in South Africa, with plenty of imitation stock circulating at similar prices. This pastel green 1.7L kettle is the real thing — original SMEG design, die-cast metal construction, and the classic 1950s dome shape the brand is famous for, all backed by proper sourcing rather than a grey-market copy. The soft green tone suits pastel-leaning kitchens without overwhelming them, working equally well solo or paired with other SMEG small appliances. It’s a considered, design-forward upgrade from a standard plastic kettle, built to hold its finish over years of daily use.
